Description of Compound Paracetamol Chlorpheniramine Diclofenac Tablets for Cold and Pain Relief
This relief combines the above four activeingredients. Diclofenac sodium is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent and possesses analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities and is mainly used for the relief ofpain and inflammation in various conditions:musculoskeletal and joint disorders such as bursitis,tendinitis,soft tissus disorders, dysmenorrhoea and inother painful conditions and following some surgicalprocedures.Diclofenac sodiumis used asan enteric coatedgranules to prevent side effects of Diclofenac sodium suchas gastrointestinal bleeding,active peptic ulcer, NSAIDinduced allergic asthma.
The efficiency of Paracetamol asan analgesic and antipyretic is equivalent to that of acetylsallcylic acid but it has no anti-inflammatory property.Magnesium trisilicate acts as an antacid. It reacts slowlywith HCI to form MgCl,. It is fast acting and efficaciousantacid. Chlorpheniramine maleate is histamine H,.receptor antagonist. It undergoes considerable first passmetabolism.
Indication of Compound Paracetamol Chlorpheniramine Diclofenac Tablets for Cold and Pain Relief
For the relief of the pains of minor and middleintensity such as headache, muscleache, backache,toothache, reduction of pain inflammation, rheumatoidarthritis, Osteoarthritis, dysmenorrhoea, ankylosing,spondylitis and in other painful condition such as renalcolic,acute gout,fever.
Undesirable Effects:Lunidic reliefshould not be used inpatients who have previously exhibited hypersensitivity to Diclofenac sodium,Paracetamol,Magnesium trisilicateand Chlorpheniramine Maleate.
